The ceremony was held out in the open at night and the grounds were lit using strong projectors on poles erected at the four corners of the field. It made it very difficult to take decent photographs even with a flash.
Sorry debu, williamsloan, mikbee, and gwynn56, I had to delete the the first photo to eliminate the little flare looking like a piece of garter on the red dress caused by the lighting conditions.

Girl talk!
I was looking forward to seeing more of the wedding, this is a cracker, and the sort of wedding picture that I appreciate. It captures the moment rather than creating something glossy and artificial. I really like the effect of the grain/noise, there's an intimate, involving atmosphere. It has a conspiratorial feel. And the rim-lighting too. Just love this in so many ways.
