Another female Marbled White Melanargia galathea, taken this morning, before the light became to harsh.
Back to work tomorrow
, so might make the most of it and revisit early evening. I am working on the possibility that there are a few Essex Skippers about![]()
A big thank you to Janet (chase), for her award given to yesterday's upload![]()

Nice one Adrian,
"Can't leave the site alone LOL".
Tom.
Superb Adrian, the detail is impeccible as are the colours and composition!
I didn't get back until really late last night, so decided against an early start today considering i'm back at work tonight, looks like you had another fruitful morning though
.
Hi, Adrian.
This is the first time I have given an award, after 6 years on the site I thought it was about time.
A cracking image all round and one that I would be proud of, as I am sure you are.
Very well done mate.
Colin
Another top shot from Twywell Adie, it certainly has been a good year for marbled whites despite the weather being pants until the last couple of days.
up to your usual standard I am happy to say - a fabulous shot
