After the giddy heights of an RC and HC for my last upload ( thanks everyone for votes and comments ), this will be down to earth with a bump.
This is The Black Mount across Lochan na h-Achlaise.
I thought the colours in this made it look like a picture that had been printed on metal. Of course, why I think that is a good thing, I have no idea ![]()

The lochan's difficult to get when it's drained of colour like this, but this is a great comp with the little boulder starting the lead in to the mountains and the larger group contributing to the lead in and also echoing the shape of the mountains.

I posted from almost the exact spot just yesterday, it's easier to get at the water here, I normally shoot further south along the Lochan, it's aplace I visit often, and have grown to leve the moodiness of th e place. I think you caught the feel of Black Mount very well.
