We Once Knew

We Once Knew by TallCreation

Nice. It speaks without words.
B&W serves this image well.

Bucolic

Bucolic by Slawek_Staszczuk

Has the look of a painting. Keeping the focus a little soft serves the image well.

Keswick Night Shot

Keswick Night Shot by Puffdiddly

Interesting image. A little more information about it would be nice.

Awake Dear Woods

Awake Dear Woods by Rebeak

It's all about the light in this image. Nice soft shot.

Pink and White

Pink and White by Big_Beavis

Outstanding
(and I don't say that very often)

Feeding

Feeding by ahonarmand

Focus_Man has some good points above. I think the original image is good if one is trying to show the relationship of the birds (?) size to the plant. I guess it's a matter of what one is trying to say with the image. I actually like both the original and the modified version.

Solent Defences

Solent Defences by Scutter

The joy of B & W photography. The rays really jump out and the composition tack on for this type of image.
