Delightful, Amy. Egrets are quite common here (Crete) but I've never seen the chicks before, thanks, click!

Thanks Jill and Pat....this isn't the best of shots.

The sun was searingly bright and you know how difficult white is under those circumstances. Buuuut , I was there more as an observer than as a photographer...and I wanted to share the progress of the baby birds as they grow Smile

Good to see they are growing up fast. I don't agree with your comment about it not being the best of shots. I think it's excellent work.

Amy, I am floored everytime I get time to look at your new shots. Do you ever take bad pics? It seems I take 1000 to get one decent enough to post, and you post incredible shot after incredible shot. Your pics are definitly one of the highlights of my time on this site.

Wow, thanks so much, Chip , you've made my night Smile)
That's the beauty of digital, I DO take a thousand bad shots to get one I feel good about posting Smile.... too cool to be able to bracket like crazy and not waste a single roll of film!!!
If I had to buy and develop film for all the shots I've taken in the past few months I'd have long since starved.

though I should add that if I put more than a few more gigs of shots on the communal computer I may well end up in divorce court Wink
