Oh Amy - this is just brilliant! This is going to do really well. I love it!

Linda summed it up for me - this is just brilliant! Very well titled too ![]()
I WAS lucky to get this. I got a shot or two, but they were looking away and the composition wasn't very good......just as I got them framed into a decent shot they heard me and started to take off. I didn't know if I'd caught them or not until I checked the moniter.
Thanks for stopping to comment, all. Very much appreciated.
It's a great shot Amy and it really made me laugh, this is super stuff.

Lol Amy, brilliant shot, great title, great composition, well done.
Many thanks for your words of congratulation on my first EC!

This is a lovely shot Amy and the title is excellent! I like the composition with the three birds lined up and the strong diagonal of the quayside. Great timing ....click

Thanks so much for your positive comments everyone. I wish I had had the time to frame the cormorant (?) in the foreground with a little more space in front of him.....but you know how that goes ![]()
As for who the winner was , Jan....the little guy in the foreground made it to the water first, of course
) (he had a head start after all)
Very impressive! Yeah i agree it's a pity there's not a bit more room in front of the nearest one, but i don't suppose they gave you much time to re-compose as they were moving. Excellent timing. Well done.
Really like this. It's amazing how many good shots you miss on here, then suddenly find!
