Wonderful Amy. A greay capture!
What a terrific shot made me laugh.
nice one well done
Nice, right time, right place shot but you have to be quick to take advantage.
Well done and well spotted.
Lovely Poses, well shoot, Amy. Pitty not to hear the Commands and the shot. Who was the winner?... YOU.!
Fantastic! well caught .. they're on the split second of taking off aren't they! Great composition too .. good reflexes!
Very well cougth moment. It almost looks like they are saying "On Your Mark, Get Set, ......... Perfect,
Linda summed it up for me - this is just brilliant! Very well titled too
I WAS lucky to get this. I got a shot or two, but they were looking away and the composition wasn't very good......just as I got them framed into a decent shot they heard me and started to take off. I didn't know if I'd caught them or not until I checked the moniter.
Thanks for stopping to comment, all. Very much appreciated.
It's a great shot Amy and it really made me laugh, this is super stuff.
Lol Amy, brilliant shot, great title, great composition, well done.
Many thanks for your words of congratulation on my first EC!
Right on time.. Brilliantly titled ... i like it very much
I did miss this one first time round. What a well seen and photographed shot. You say you were lucky but remember - the more you practise the luckier you get! I reckon you worked hard to get the shot - have a click, it made me smile
Love this! Looks like someone is about to have a headstart!!!
Well-seen and well-captured!
Love this shot well spotted. Who won???
This is a lovely shot Amy and the title is excellent! I like the composition with the three birds lined up and the strong diagonal of the quayside. Great timing ....click
Excellent shot, Amy. Made me smile
Love this shot - made me laugh. I think what really makes it is the bird in the foreground - it looks as if he's taking it very seriously, and is concentrating very hard.
Missed this one earlier - very good capture and nice title.
Thanks so much for your positive comments everyone. I wish I had had the time to frame the cormorant (?) in the foreground with a little more space in front of him.....but you know how that goes
As for who the winner was , Jan....the little guy in the foreground made it to the water first, of course ) (he had a head start after all)
Just catching up with my viewing backlog.
This one was well worth waiting for, terrific action shot with a great description.
Very impressive! Yeah i agree it's a pity there's not a bit more room in front of the nearest one, but i don't suppose they gave you much time to re-compose as they were moving. Excellent timing. Well done.
Really like this. It's amazing how many good shots you miss on here, then suddenly find!
Thank you George, himalk, Tim , and Debbie, much appreciated.
