Hi Everyone, Just two from the garden taken over the last few days, goldys are regular visitors to the garden, Niger seed works wonders for these litlle beautys, and V2 is a female Black bird but i think she a beauty, love her colours.
Hope you like them and must thank you all for your time c/c on my last upload.

Two great shots, Shaun. Love V1 of the gold finch - the reds in the head are repeated in the buds, and the detail is superb. The female blackbird is also so well captured in profile, again with excellent detail. So half a vote for each.
Regards, Ronnie.

Two lovely shots.
I like the Goldfinch especially with the emerging buds adding to the image.
I feed the Goldfinches in my garden with Niger Seeds but they eat far more of the Sunflower Hearts I also put out.

Two superb images Shaun, must be V1 for me though, what a superb capture, the setting and the pose are brilliant and so pin sharp, please accept my UA for this image, the Blackbird is a cracker also.

I was wandering around Grasmere on Saturday could not believe the wildlife around and theses Goldfinches were everywhere, and not the slightest bit timid.
