Little Grebe also known as the Dabchick, they did'nt want to play ball at all today but did manage to get a few shots.

a fantastic shot, it seems so touching and fragile although it is well in its element!
Congrats on the awards Shaun, cracking shot with super detail and reflection, spent a couple of hours yesterday trying for one of these but it seemed fast asleep just floating with it's head hidden underneath it's wing, must have known you were uploading one and wouldn't play ball

A cracking capture Shaun, you've nailed this one to coin Tomcat's favourite catchphrase. I like the rippled reflection and the colours and detail in the plumage are immaculate
