Managed to get out yesterday afternoon after the rain had passed, had a great time however managed to cover my filters in the dreaded salt spray!
This shot is actually a blend of 5 exposures tonemapped in Photomatix Pro, but as always i try to keep it as natural looking as possible.
Thanks for looking....
Please view large if possible!
f/22 at 12mm
1/5 to 3.2 Secs
Very nicely done. Great shot.
Version 2 for me Oliver, I think the mono tones give it more atmosphere and a sense of drama.
Yes i am quite keen on the mono one aswell. Didn't think it would work in mono but the rocks and sea work really well. Thanks for your comment.
Agree mono works well. Rocks an sea look very good in mono but I really like the yellow(ish) light of the sun reflecting on the sea. So for me, definitely #1. Great capture.

Hello Oliver, nice work mate.

Like both of these Ollie nice work!
They are both great images but personally I prefer No 1. I can visualise the scene from my numerous visits to the mumbles head, love the area, fantastic for photograhy.
