Its the angle that makes the difference to this shot in my view. Lower down it would just be a Nun against a Peeling Wall. This adds a strange perspective to the image. A nice touch of motion blur in the raised foot too.

Jane, I added a touch of warmth with an orange filter in photoshop leving the nun untouched... the main reason for the colour however is playing with the levels in photoshop to give it more 'umph' otherwise the wall is as you see it

The abstract element alone is outstanding, the tones and blending of colours almost as much, then the timing and composition finally nail it!

David I would quite happily vote on all your images, But the cues to long to get to the bottom of the page,Your good But I know you know that,
