hello Lex

nice try here Lex......if you want a clear photo.....either lose the teleconverter or trade in the zoom lens for a prime lens.......to try to get all of the osprey in sharp focus you have to set your aperture to at least f8 and increase your shutter speed to at least a thousand of a second....then to compensate for loss of light from these settings you should set your ISO up to 800.

it looks like you had a reasonable amount of light to work with so the above settings should work ...but be prepared for some noise in your picture ....which you can fix with noise software.

hope you don't mind an actual critique as i think someone should tell you how to fix a picture and please keep this in mind.......any pic of these great birds is well worth looking at and for that i say well done!
