Paul this is emotionally very effective and attractive, but it is also artistically clever with the use of contrasting horizontal and vertical stripe effects. The combination of elements is really very compelling!

Paul, a great wide image with wonderful light. I think there's another version, avoiding the sign, with the post bottom left and more conventional format - just an idea!
