I glanced out of the window and saw this unusually coloured pheasant this morning. The IXUS was to hand and I managed to grab a few shots before it saw me. I need your help - is this perhaps an immature male?
EDIT: Having checked my bird books and the web, I think this may be a "melanistic" form of the ring necked pheasant.
