Retired biology teacher, writer of local history. Started photography aged 12 with Brownie Reflex, moved up to an Agfa Silette as a student, used the Minolta MD system for over 30 years and never moved to Dynax autofocus. Rather reluctantly stored two X700 bodies and all the lenses and accessories in May 2006 and bought an Olympus E-500 kit. I use my large stock of old slides, mostly Fuji, to give presentations to a wide range of local societies. My subjects include local history, wild flowers, travelogues and stone circles. I've been a member of my local camera club for 15 years.
