Taken in the kitchen in natural light, this is an old victorian Glass jug with a very uneaven base, I think it would be classed as a second these days. A change from Crocuses but still with spring flowers a few hellebores from the garden.

Thanks to Harry for his user award on yesterdays crocus.

Hi Ann, I like the composure of this shot but not 100% sure that b/w is perfect for this one. Hellibores are coloured so subtly that a colour version might work wonderfully well. I might also just crop out the shiny surface under the jug as I think this would improve the overall apperance. (The background is so beautiful).

The mono version is quite elegant, but I also like the color...maybe you could split the difference and desaturate the color a bit but still having it show through on those lovely flowers????

Hard to choose both do have their own merits so mefinks its 1 vote each love the unevn bottom of the jar which is quite clear in the reflection nice one for both

An interesting effect you've achieved here, it is certainly different from the usual floral uploads on here. I have a slight preference for the natural looking v2 though
