yet another sunset pic. taken from Midsummer Hill on the Malverns yesterday. almost at the extreme end of the zoom on the digi camera. the sun is going down behind the Welsh mountains. the hill in the forground is Marcle Ridge

I was out taking the sunset yesterday. I think this one has suffered from being over exposed a bit because of the bright sun. I had to play around to get it just right (IMO).

Do you mean blood red? Like Eve says, the over exposure is killing what could've otherwise been a bl**dy beautiful sunset.

yeh I was working in terrible conditions! freezing cold and tiny buttons, curse these digi cameras, I did try and mess with the exposure settings but this was the best I could get and still have the landscape is silhouette and keep the bright bits more or less how they looked. It really was that sort of colour, all that has been done is a bit of minor contrast adjustment and cropping in photo shop. film next time.
