Fantastic portrait with amazing detail - gets my award.
Captures the character of these wonderful creatures perfectly. Technically excellent, gets my award for the day.
Love the crop, detail and eye contact in this shot - it doesn't surprise me it has won awards. Get my award too.
Over the last hurdle
Tremendous energy in this shot, and that eye contact just makes it prefect for me. Gets my award for the day.
I love the way the chain has been used in the composition of this shot. Coupled with the mood and the detail, it gets my award for the day.
I had a day trying to photograph these birds. It proved very difficult, and I came away with nothing approaching the quailty of this shot. Gets my award as a superb shot of a Harris Hawk in flight.
Different, nice, I like.
Lovely detail and stands out beautifully against the dark background.

Streaks at St. Hubert's
Love where you've place the horizon on this shot. Gives it really a big sky effect, which shows the star tails perfectly. One of the best I've seen, and makes me want to have a go!
Lovely picture, excellent composition. May I ask what focal length you used?
I Want to Ride My Bicycle
Brilliant - great sense of speed!
Excellent John. I read the account of your efforts to get this shot on your excellent website, and having climbed to the Bealach an Lapain in good conditions, I'm well aware of the lengths you went to capture this.
Nice - very dramatic.
I like this, just back from the Lakes myself - didn't get to Wast water, must go there next time. I'd love to see a shot with more of the bridge.
Nice to see a shot from a different viewpoint - lovely shot of an awsome place.

Love the lighting on the rocks. Sunrise light always gives pleasing results - i'll have to get up earlier I think.
Superb sports action shot. Deserves more attention.
Glencoe / Glen Etive
Nice to see a different shot from Glencoe. Great stitching job on this one Scott.
Lovely shot Scott - I wish I could get out as much as you seem to.
I like your new phot for your members page. Can I ask where it was taken?
The Beach Girls
Lovely high key shot
celtic cross 2
Very dramatic. Dont know why its not getting more attention.
Every bit as good as the last one Scott. Wish I was there.
Light makes the photograph - as seen here. Another cracker Scott
Never get fed up of photos from this place. This is a ver y good one.
Thanks for the comments. I took a landscape format version of this, composed in the way the crop has been suggested for this one. I may post it later.
In this one, I wanted to focus on the flowing water, but looking again I accept it looks better with less foiliage at the top.
Thank you for the constructive comments.
