A 5:1 macro shot of a butterflies eye - dusty because this unfortunate butterfly didn't make it through the winter months, and being stored indoors tends to get all insects a layer of fine dust.

wow that is amazing stuff, i never knew butterflys had no eyelids to blink and the fact there eyes are hairy too, wow.
