f13, ISO 200, 1/200sec
Gave my new sigma 70mm a try out in the field recently - and this was the result. I found a bug though failed to get anything more than a locked on focus and a good exposure - sadly creepy crawlies that live under things like to remain living under things when exposed - and won't stay around for the camera!
Even if I were using my 150mm and its longer working distance I would have met the same problem of the bugs rapidly hiding away.
The lens performs well - very well - I just have to get better at using it!
