A crop of the centre of full sized photo
Taken in aperture priority mode with the popup flash on and a diffuser (a few folds of toilet paper) and with tripod. The first shot of a series and the only one woth anything as the little fly decided to hide in the flower. I was glad to get such a clear and sharp shot of this bug as often when I get insects they are either very small or lacking in detail.

A nice close up image, and if your were to clone out the mark on the petal to the left of the image it would be even better.
Thanks for your advice on my picture, I increased the saturation as you suggested and it looks much better. It's always good to get comments as others see what we miss in our owm images.
