Always wanted a chance to get a shot of one of these flies with the "rainbow" eyes and then one day I turn around and one is sitting on my windowsill (and later on, though without my camera, a female of the same species tried to eat my trousers).
Sadly I'm not sure of the magnification (EXIF how I wish you listed it!) but its at least around 3:1 and might be 5:1 since I was using f5.6 but I honestly don't remember so between 3 and 5.
