f5, ISO 400, 1/400sec

Taken on a bright day whilst lying down on a set of boards which allowed me to get this really low down shot of him.
Personally I think its faults are being a little too central and the whites are overexposing on his head, even after a brush over with the burn tool. A shot from before I started to use exposure compensation during the day - and yet still a shot I am proud of.
ps - range to him was close, only a few feet.

I actually like the central positioning in wildlife, if you look at mine you will see. Great to see the low angle and a good capture

Nice shot, i like the low angle and the beak ( bill ? ) in the water adds to the movement,
