OK - serious stuff now. Cutting hard and pulling hard to zap across the wake.

Great composition. The skier's expression is well captured. A really good action shot.

Good strong sports/action. Your skills with the camera equally match the skills of the surfer.

Fantastic - brilliant composition. With shots like this even those not necessarily interested in the sport will take notice and appreciate both.

Thanks for looking.
Danny - don't tell anyone but it's dead easy with the 20D at 5fps and my new 70-200 (although the old 75-300 took some great shots.) I think I took 550+ images on that afternoon alone with only a few to discard due to focus/exposure problems. Obviously they're not all as dramatic as this one but I've got loads of keepers for the family album.
I suppose the greatest advantage I have is owning the boat!!!
Edit - Oh and family and friends that like to show off in the water!!
Thanks Ady - it's appreciated. Watersports don't tend to attract too much attention.

I'm sorry but why does this have so few votes? This is by far, one of the best sports shots i've seen on this site - don't really appeal to me but this jumped out at me!!
Well done!

Excellent action shot and unfortunately vastly underclicked in my opinion.

A brilliant dynamic shot. It's almost like being there... but not so wet.
