A cropped version of my first ever model shot taken under a slightly overcast sky. She is a friend of my cousin. Not a model but very happy to pose. Too bad I forget names, lol.

I wanted to include the unique architectural feature of "sardines" (the horizontal lines decorating the external side of the walls) in the island of Andros, Cyclades, Greece. I have asked her to open her arms that way but I have not taken the picture I have had intended to take originally. The concept was to use the "sardines" to introduce her figure starting from her fingers, hand to lead to her face. Unfortunately as I was doing closer to the wall myself the background was becoming distractingly visible even at wide aperrture and that was the best angle I could have shot her. I'd wished to have told her to lean her head backwards too but none of us thought it then.
