A bit of a change today..........very few critters to be found in all this dampness, so I did a bit of indoor photography with some roses from the garden, hope you like it
Excellent photos Carol !! Although I am a man for life in this instance I think V2 must get my vote ! Great stuff this
Lovely detail in this 'life or death' situation, Carol Creative work, maybe not so sure about the colour of the Epz background though.
Nice study, like Hermanus it's v2 for me
Your indoor work is every bit as good as your outdoor Carol, and that's the highest compliment I can think of to give you for these!
Smell sweet, always. A very novel idea indeed.
Version 1 for me, dont like the yellow background Carol
Have changed the background colour, wasn't too sure about it myself
Three lovely shots Carol, was wondering what the problem with the ask ground was as I read through! Great stuff.
three wonderful detailed captures carol wonderful light and colours v2 for me today a cracker nice one
Couldn't understand what the bg problem was but see from the comments you've changed it to black. Works brilliantly for floral images, I reckon! Another beautiful set. Love them all but probably V1 just tips it for me.
V2 gets my vote..... But love them all.
I also have the same in my garden this year but mine are red.
Excellent colour and detail in both Carol,
Stunning set Carol. I love the way you have highlighted the beauty of the flower at more than one stage.
Nice to see the two side by side in V 1 and there is still innate beauty in the left one despite all petals fallen, Carol.
A fascinating contrast in V1, but it's V2 for me. Beauty in death.
A different approach that certainly works.
Perfect illustration showing beauty to the very end Carol.
V2 for me
Overnight high winds, more to come and rain moving in as well
Got to be the live images for me Carol.
Beautifully captured Carol, I like the presentation of V1.
Defo the dead one for me, Carol. I mean, look at it...it's actually going, "Ta-daaa!!"
like it keep up the good work
bit like me on boxing day Carol not sure if i was dead or alive V1 for me today well presented
Superb work Carol.
Love both images but the beauty of V2 does appeal
and makes out look at what we'd normally dismiss.
Three wonderfully composed and crafted images Carol, the duet being a marriage in heaven.
Interesting to see the after and before ! (have just uploaded ) Gill
Beautiful Carol. I think I actually like the dead one best. Probably because the stamens are so pretty.
Beautiful !!.....lovely quality !!!
Great shots, Carol - all our roses are well finished!
The lighting brings out the textures very well
A change from the norm but just as good
Nice work Carol.
Beautifully captured and presented.......Sandy
Super clear images.
Very well presented Carol - you've created a beautiful image in v1. I like to see flowers 'on their way out' as they have character too.
Some lovely images Carol whilst I've been away over the Christmas period - I especially like yesterday's cricket
V2 for me all the way! I guess I'm late wrt the background - what you have now looks great
Very well done Carol, such a great study
Not a Bug in sight Excellent work Carol, love flowers but do prefer your bugs
Have spent 5 minutes studying this and can confirm ......... NO BUGS!!!! What has happened since I last had some spare time to browse EPZ gallery??? This is a lovely image Carol - I really like the contrast of the two. Lou
Lovely shot, I prefer v1, the lighting is great. No bugs here it's been raining all day I have seen a few slugs!!
Excellent images lovely detail
Dead or alive sounds like the bounty hunters lol. nice idea Carol, makes a change and it's good for you as well to do something different, very nice presentation and detail as always like them, regards Leon. there is a strange yellow thing in the sky this morning
V1 for me , I like the dead or alive as a couple well done. Are you taking a leaf, sorry petal out of Ronnie's book?
V1 for me for the same reaons as Annette, your presentation is first class
