Not such a familiar view of Dungeness but an image I have wanted to capture for some time. I saw a similar shot by a photographer by the name of David Purdie and was captivated by the isolation of that phone box with its light glowing in the low light like some alien beacon. I am quite a fan of the photographer, Gregory Crewdson and wanted to evoke some of the mood of his 'Twilight' images. three frames stitched in Photoshop CS6.

Derek, you have achieved the aim so very well. Desolate and with that threatening sky in the background. Very nice piece of work.

That phone box really does look amazing Derek - you've certainly captured a great atmosphere here and taken Dungeness from a very different perspective. It works really well.

An image that has truly captured a great slice of Dungeness. The lone telephone box provides not only a unique focal point but much interest as does the reflected light in the house's windows.

Excellent. Has a slightly off-kilter Gregory Crewdson feel to it...

So different to anything else I've seen from here Derek, moody & atmospheric - so like the position and glow from the telephone box!
