A while ago one of the juniors uploaded an image of a squirrel eating a Persimmon. I had to admit I didn't know what a Persimmon was - well, when I saw some in the supermarket I just had to treat myself to one!. . .
Not the prettiest of fruit. Quite a solid flesh with the feel/texture of peach, but not the flavour!! Although it's quite sweet, it doesn't really have a flavour as such - just a sort of 'scented' after taste. I felt a little disappointed...............the squirrels are welcome to them!! ![]()
