Caught this pair of blue butterflies mating this afternoon.quite hard to shoot as the wind was blowing,if you have time try viewing the larger version,comments welcome..

What a lovely pair to capture - super detail.
I would crop a little off the sides though to make the butterflies more prominent.Smile

You have captured these butterflies very well but I agree that a closer, portrait shot may have worked even better. I have done a mod that shows what I mean but the image may not be able to cope with such a strong crop. It is always better to fill the frame at taking stage if you can. Andy

Many thanks for your comments Brian and Andy,will look to fill
the frame in the field rather than trying to crop!! my main concern
is trying to get a better back ground..i am working at it,
i have got lots to learn..

Well caught though a vertical crop would make for a stronger image.
