A straightforward title, and no legend or old wives' tale to go with it either. Unless anyone knows different? The only one I have found is to "Put their heads in the sun and their feet in the shade", but this has been proved to be a myth.
This isn't mine, but my neighbour's clematis that trailed over my fence. I hope I have the name right.
As you all probably know, it's a vigorous climbing vine with small rosy pink flowers with yellow anthers and bronze-tinted foliage.
This flower series seems to be going on forever !
