I have to thank Barbara, Trevor and Matt for kindly giving their User Awards to my Wiggly Tree. That was a real surprise.

I seem to be in an abstract mood just lately.
What's more, I love diagonals.
This green fencing caught my eye at our Community Centre play area. It must be fairly new, no scratches or flaking paint, and definitely no rust. Vs 1 and 2 have the lamp included, for a bit more reality.
4 versions, 2 images with black and white alternatives. I'm sure you'll let me know which you prefer or which you think works best.
Pamela.

I like the strong diagonals in these well observed abstracts. On balance the colour versions work best for me.

Two strong abstract compositions. I'm going for b&w in both instances - it's cooler, more remote, less tied to context and identifiable practicalities. The lines stand on their own in mono.

Two great abstracts, Pamela, well captured. Think the colours versions just win it for me, and V1's my fave Smile

I think that I like V2 most. Apart from the diagonal lines, B&W creates a strong contrast. Can I say simple and strong image? I think it is...Smile

I would go with the mono's - all have great lines - I think V4 has the more impact.

I love your abstracts, Pamela. Always have, as you know. There are so many lovely patternings out there which are often missed or simply not recorded and celebrated.

For me, V4 works better than V3...but V1 works better than V2. Actually, the colour versions are very fetching 'cos of that deliciously new and clean paintjob.

You've got my eyes open for patterns around me now Smile
