Firstly, a big thankyou to John (alsoppdigitalart) for his User Award on my Single Passion Flower, and for all your favourable comments, votes and welcome suggestions.

Two versions of the lovely Regal Pelargonium, both taken at the garden centre before buying one. Called "decorative regals", these are obviously in the geranium family, and have some of the most colourful flowers in this genus of plants.

Pamela.

Super colour and detail, Pamela. I looked at v1 and thought, wow, and what a great background, but then saw v2... you should have given them their own billing. Lovely images.

Truly beautiful pelargoniums, Pamela: not surprised to were tempted into buying one.
Both presentations excellent, the colour and detail beautifully recorded.
If pressed, I'd probably plump for V 1 with the rather darker b/g, but it's a close call, as I do like the b/g to V 2 as well.
I am always trying to think up new ways of presenting my floral work but have a limited processing package for that, so would have to do so in camera.
Ronnie.

Sighhh...always so amazing to look at your floral images. One, 'cos they're such a pleasure to look at. Two, 'cos they're stuff to aspire to.

SUCH a beautiful flower and colour, Pamela, but more than that, your photography of it (esPECially in V1) is outstanding.

V1 is really superb - great colour Pamela and excellent veining detail in the petals. V2 does not have the same impact as the light is a little unbalanced and there is some loss of detail.
