Another rhododendron picture, again taken at Exbury Gardens, this time a pair of pink ones. With some foliage, but no stem, sorry Karen.
This showy, ornamental plant with its many clusters of large flowers is the National Flower of Nepal.
It is extensively hybridized in cultivation and can be a shrub or a tall tree, "rhodos" means rose and "dendron" means tree.
