Firstly, I have to thank dianah for favouring my last lily with her User Award. Thanks, Di.
I found another picture of my daylilies and couldn't resist uploading it.
Anyway, this time it's a pair of them, a bit different, so I hope not too boring for you.
I think it's such a shame that something so beautiful only lives for one day, and this may be why I can't resist photographing them.
This flower series seems to be going ok, so I'll stick with it for the time being.
Thankyou for your continued support.
Pamela.

Gorgeous. The orange tones are really remarkably subtle (orange generally isn't the subtlest colour...) and the hints of green in the background work well to cool the image.

Many thanks for your UA on 'Mist' very much appreciated.
Does seem rather a shame it does live long, but at least you've captured it here at its best, Pamela. A very beautiful image ![]()

More of a salmon colour than orange, I feel. What a shame they survive for such a short time...nature is strange at times.
I don't think you could have done this any better, Pamela. Well, OK, perhpas coloured in the small white dot upper right leaf? There, that's my nit picked today.![]()
Everything gels. It all works.

MALC: that white dot is the white stigma on the end of the pistil.
TAMMY (JustDucky): Thankyou so much for favouring my lilies with your User Award.
MARK (Bruffy): I was truly thrilled to receive your Guest Editor Award.
Extremely well done, great bg, superb detail and colour - brilliant shot!
