trapped behind a wall of propaganda and lies, each time i turn on the tv i feel depressed, we are told only what they want to tell us and we hear only what they want us to hear, Italy sucks!

Works for me! Again, technically, not the best photo, but the narrative and idea are superb! The starkness of the bare skin against the roughness of the wall, but also the necklace and the feeling of confinement and trapment....says so much and with the explanation, it works beautifully....a superb idea really well shot. Nicely done again Paola, deep and meaningful....
And couldn't agree more about the media either.....believe me, its not just Italy....its the same over here, the same in the USA and the same in Iraq....doesn't matter where you are, you are never, ever getting the unbiased truth...don't believe the hype....
John I'm glad you agree about the meaning of the wall, and the bare skin, actualy i wanted to have only the necklace but the bracelets can not come off, i have to cut them, but i can't because it was a present 
and maybe you are right about the media being the same everywhere, but at least you don't have a prime minister that is the OWNER of most of the tv channels and also of most of the newspapers.
only SKY is not his, but that is not much better anyway, oh well guess that's life 
luckily i have my camera that always cheers me up along with all the nice comments from here

Well, there's one way to avoid "lies and propaganda" - don't turn TV on.
Many years ago Ronald Regan was asked about facts on Iran Contra affair, he answered: "What facts? Facts are bullshit." Politicians and CEOs are never going to change.
Probably you should think about changing your peace badge for huge A sign.

Look at SKY's owners...all as bad as each other. I only read the paper to see whats on TV. Got to agree with JB114 about the soft skin in contrast to the texture of the bricks. Positioning of the necklace is pretty clever too.
