La Manneporte is probably the most photogenic cliff in Europe... that's what Claude Monet thought of it at least, as he painted this subject - and other cliffs nearby Etretat - in some 40 of his works.
I took this picture on a very windy and somewhat raining afternoon at the end of August 2007. As I thought the subject deserved it, I decided to make a B&W, applying then a selenium-like toning.
