Emboldened by a Duvel and a Westmalle Tripel, I resolved to overcome my chronic vertigo and climb the spiral staircase to the top of the cathedral. Alas upon reaching the top I became gripped by the irrational. Not daring to venture towards the excellent vista, I only managed to click off a couple of shots before beating a hasty retreat.
