it's a pleasat shot i think however, it gets confusing in understanding who the main subject is and therefore, difficult to understand the message of the photo!

The relationship between the old lady, remembering when she could hoola-hoop and the young girl who is unaware of the effect she is having on the old dear's memory. Classic 50's look to the processing.

It's a good point. I thought about a tighter crop, but the lead in lines created by the typography were then lost.
Basically it's about memories - the old person remembering days past reinforced by the classic quotations embedded in the carpet.

Caught the moment perfectly. I like the lighting on this shot…another good one Gary..
