I promised some front views of this life-sized monument to the Horses of The Wine in Caravaca de la Cruz, Spain. I think the sculpture is full of energy. You can only just see the legs of the two runners at the back. I replaced the sky in all three.
Around 60 horses take part in the running of the wine horses, and the celebration is a unique event, which is incredibly dangerous, with a horse and 4 runners going at full pelt. The first to reach the castle wins, but the run is void if all 4 runners aren't still with their horse. I imagine V1 is somewhat how it feels like to be in the crowd of spectators, and apparently there are a lot of injuries.
