This will be the last one from Harold Hillier's "Art in the Garden" exhibition. Thank goodness, you will be saying!
This is the Red Kite sculpture by Paul Harvey, sculpted in cold cast pewter and priced at £895. Well, that's the price for one of them. The reason you can see two is that I combined two pictures of the same bird in order to make it look a bit more interesting.
This one gives you a better idea of all the foliage surrounding the smaller sculptures, which is why I changed the background in several of them, because their detail was getting lost.
2 versions. I thought they looked as if they were interacting in V1, and both looking towards the same thing in V2.
Pamela.

You have a knack of finding these 'quirky' sculptures which I find so fascinating. Again an excellent image and thanks for sharing it with usWinkGrinGrinGrinGrin

Not exactly red, are they, Pamela?Tongue
What an excellent manip. to combine 2 images. Would never have seen the joins, I must admit.
Both are excellent at giving the impression of interaction and a common interest, but for me the relationship given in V1 just edges it for me.

Hi Pamela,

Your photography is amazing. To have combined two images of the same Red Kite sculpture, so seamlessly is incredible. I love the detail and the contrast of the pewter against the green foliage. The birds look like a pair in conversation. You give me piles of inspiration.

Blue kites??
My sort of birds, guaranteed to sit still.
I prefer V1 here. V2, going in closer but not that much closer, seems neither one thing nor the other. But I think there's a good square crop to be had from the upper part of V2, that would be my preference.

Love these too. As I said previously, rather envious of you being able to get to view these and the other sculptures in person, the only saving grace being I didn't find myself scraping the bottom of the savings to buy one!! These are both lovely images with V1 being my preference.

A fine piece of manipulation, Pamela, still looking for the joins and repeat patterns TongueGrin v1 is the most natural for me, v2 doesn't look quite right from a pov/perspective, as though our eye-line is on the level of both but can't be (if you're with me).
