Firstly, a big thankyou to helenlinda (Helen) for her User Award on my "Eagle on a Border Fork".

As if you didn't guess, I'm still at Harold Hillier's "Art in the Garden", and bringing you this charming little pair of snowy owls by Daren Greenhow crafted in stainless steel, and it could be yours for a mere £195!
OK, it was quite small, but really cute.
2 versions for you. Still not sure which I like best.
Thankyou for your continued support for this never-ending seriesTongue.
Pamela.

Wonderful clarity against the black, Pamela. v2 is easier to see their shapes. I thought 'I can do that' until I realised my bike cogs are covered in oil, grease, muck, etc..... TongueGrinGrin

interesting pieces of work so well captured, i like the framing with the leaves in v1 but also like the slight sinister look from the owls in v2, nice work.

More detail of the structuring shows off better in V 3 but personally I prefer V 1 where the owls are set against the black b/g: both captured in very dine detail.
Very original price of art work.

That is a difficult decision, Pamela. In V2 they appear about to take off, more so than in V1. Very sweet in either case. I'm afraid I shall just have to sit on the fence Wink

V2, Pamela. The full face on image is more engaging. The contrast between the silver metal and the rusty perch is brilliant.
Wonder if that effect was planned by the sculptor?

I definitely prefer V1. They look cuter and you get a better sense of them 'cos they're more isolated from the leaves.

195 quid! Print out V1 and frame it. You could have the owls in your home for a fraction of the price Wink And your captures are definitely worth framing.
