A child is born to the stones at Avebury
it is offered to the Pagan Gods,
The world into which it is arrives is strange
and alien to us but the baby joins the time divide.

( Avebury stones I took the photo last week,
it is a wonderful place, very mystical , the birds
are from another photo from my portfolio.
The baby is born of the internet.)

Thankyou everyone for your kind comments,

the stones tell of an old world, but the baby looks the same if it was born when the stones were new. or in 2005 This is what the picture is saying.

Lovely peice of imagination and manipulation Maureen. The colours are lovely too.....and I'm so impressed that you managed to get a photograph of the stones without one tourist or Hippy in the way! Grin

this is very interesting..been to Avebury several times, came up with the child idea..difference was I blended into the stone..strange how the place works..try the barrow [kennet]very different feel to the ring..Sorry great idea, perhaps a touch to many different ideas..but very well done!
