Hey Mister Dream-Seller, where have you been
Tell me, have you dreams I can see?
I came along just to bring you this song
Can you spare one dream for me......etc....
Lindisfarne - Meet Me On The Corner
I 'll have this tune in my head for the rest of the day know!.....lol
This is a well worked image Maureen, I bet you had some great ideas whilst there.
just superb again love looking
Lindisfarne - not only an island, but also a great band. I don't know if this was intended, but I found some amazing connections:
1. The band leadeer was Alan Hull - the house/barn looks like a boat hull
2. One of my fav. songs is "Passing Ghosts" - the ghost is looming over the house
3. One of the most popular songs was "Stormy Weather" - dark clouds cover the sky
4. You didn't really say it, but I suppose it was "Good to be there" - another song.
yes i worked in the pop world in the late 60's and early 70's,
and didnt then relate the band to the island,
great place to visit,
guess who i saw this afternoon in Spalding Benjajamin Zephaniah
the famous black rapper poet, (google him)
only me and another man recognized him (i think)
i was to nervous to go and say hello.
and now i wish i had.
thank you so much for this award, it is thrilling to receive these awards, they mean so much.
it is always good to know that people like what you do.
