Taurus is the Second Sign of the Zodiac,

represented by the Bull which is prized for strength and stamina.

surreal image of Taurus

he who smiles through life,
except when crossed
who knows
or thinks he knows the most
who loves good things
baked boiled or roast
oh Taurus

Being a Taurean, we are apparently known for our practicality and no-nonsence
approach to things. So seeing three moggies tormenting a lizard watched by a Hereford bull is
a scene that must have happened at some time in history. Perhaps not in moonlight though. Bulls and
lizards tend to enjoy a good nights kip. A very strong composition Maureen with a super palette,in
keeping with your last recent uploads.

Your image is amazing. It looks like it should be hanging in an art gallery.

thanks every one

i love bulls they look so majestic don't they,

so Taurus was always going to be an image i would enjoy making.

my original idea was to have a little child leading the bull on a lead,
but couldn't find enough material,

so as usual i just started with the base layer
and built it not knowing how it would turn out.

i would have liked the bull to be looking down,
but my pet bull just wouldn't pose for me

you know how stubborn bulls can be !
hee hee

A fascinating interpretation as always.....
Without the lizard, it would look as though the cats were preying on the bull, like little panthers. Try it....it changes the whole mood of the image.

What a difference....I love the way the bull is looking at those "threatening" cats....like "bring it on!"
Nice work.
And Happy Birthday.
