the rivers a wanderer
a nomad, a tramp,
she doesn't chose one place
to set up her camp

the rivers a hoarder
she buries down deep
those little treasures
that she wants to keep

the rivers a singer
as she dances along
the country side echo's
the notes of her song

Vi is better in my view. In fact I would like to see a little more of the eye area.
There are no details of camera settings, techniques used or details of the areas you require critique on.
I feel that a photo image should tell the story without additional words.

regards
Ian

Beautiful, with a poem to match. You have given us a glimpse of the river's soul.

I like the more subtle V2, Maureen, and the idea of a living river.
