Spent the best part of today in the Poppy fields , never realised so much goes on , a microcosm of entanglement and enlightenment !
So I drew this from that. Evergreen
Life in all its form Dave...deliciously done mate..You've just inspired me to do a work of art.. mmm watch the space Dave and take the plaudits..
Wondered if you might indulge in the Poppy theme Eviscera....
Really imaginative stuff and worthy
Where did you get that paint work from, it looks just like the one i have from Belguim, OH and great work as usual.
outstanding work Dave
I just love this...Awesome!
great stuff Dave.
Rgds ... Dave
fresh, full of light and life
oooops - I think somehow i've managed to put a comment twice...
Totally amazing !
I only wish I could create work as good as this one
Good to see the layers back Dave and you have landed safe and sound on planet Eviscera.
Wow!! This to me...if you don't mind me saying...has somewhat of an Asian feel to it...I like it very, very much, so artful....please indulge us with your technique....or is it top secret? If so, I don't blame you!! Looking forward each day to more! Thanx for you kind post on my "Chokes".
That's some wicked paintwork Dave.....I think you need the decorators in Hun
A good diagonal from the Poppies & the broken window pane is a nice touch.
An open window to the outside world where nature and the sense of freedom abounds. Love it.
oowwww this is so lovely.
please accept my award.
There ya go - now didn't that feel good Terrific - so many people and faces amongst the poppies - war and hope - the bottom rhs puts me in mind of crusaders - great stuff
This has the feeling of a painting, rolled or folded up and then, finally discovered! Love the window and door. Lovely quality throughout.
Brilliant piece of work, imaginatively done.
This really is beautifully mindblowing - the textures, levels of detail, composition...story upon story...
Yes indeed, Poppies are a law unto themselves, great image
You reached into your soul for this one . breathtakingly beautiful. Sorry I cannot give you my award today but will be able to in a day or two.
Picaso in a poppy field. Lovely colour and great creative work.............Sandy
Really beautiful image Dave - like a favourite painting, could look at this for hours and always see more. Great work.
I love the way the wall "melts" and joins the poppy leaves. We can always rely on you to do something special and this is the most original poppy pic I've seen.
Thanks everyone ! Just got in from a crappy day , really glad you saw the faces , guardians , someone gets it wahay !
Was a bit of a slapper image really , just reminding myself how to stuff in case I went "straight" (not that im gay or anything , well Poppies could be and , erm)
Cheers off for a gander and do some darker stuff for next.
Have my weekly UA Dave, this is actually something I would hang on my wall....don't go fainting or anything............I just like it
I just fainted , you actually liked it ! You been sniffing far to much of that layer glue.
Thanks. (and I always p.m anyone who gives their u.a btw) mmm , strange old world isnt it.
blimey ya booting out some top work ..... angie x
Superb mate. Nearly spewed when I saw the scar you sent.
Always good to listen to some chill music when that happens Scara.
Sue , x sent.
Brilliant stuff, lovely work, I like this semi-fractalius effect piece of art. Very well deserved all the awards
great work mate, takes some viewing to take it all in..
Superb.Beautiful imaginative creative work
Great shot beautiful detail & colours--------Gary
superb - love this one
Complex, enigmatic and beautifully worked Dave. You are indeed a true artist in the EPZ Shires. I'd personally move the window more across to the right though. Not because I'm a builder and want to try out my new power drill and scaffolding but for balance Dave ..... too much in the left half of the image and not enough in the right. IMO .... in fact IMHO.
You know , you are absolutely right Mr U.
When I put the window there , the idea was to have the Bee (which is to big on reflection) flying from the light to have a word with the wasp in the shadows (top third and now a weak focal point).
In hindsight the window should indeed occupy that top right third , the bee scaled down , flipped horizontal , and the wasp moved to come from the poppy !
Im such an arse looking at it now , thanks so much for the tip Dave.
Quote: Im such an arse looking at it now
My way of saying it was so much more polite Dave
you have a way with words and birds smoothie.
Stunning work... Brilliant.
Beautiful work as ever!
Beautiful indeed, gives one a space to imagine...
