The gold from the flames is wonderfully reflected in the frame of his glasses and on the embroidered garment.
Seeing it again there is so much more gold than I noticed on fb - Does he burn a specific plant or anything - I have a feeling that there will be symbolism there too. Maybe hyssop?

This looks dangerous....we put ours in a large pot to contain the fire.
Do you burn last year's palms? I really like this little ceremony, and you have captured the life of the flames to perfection.
