Truly chic: elegant fashion photo, late 1950s style???
Love the play on lines: the horizontal brim contrasts harmoniously with the o/o/f diagonals of the background. There is even a diagonal catch-light. The limited dark tones, eye, hair, hat-band, are sufficiently discreet to wllow the image its high-key nature.

Beautiful portrait, excellent composition and it works really well as a mono. It sort of reminds me of some images taken by David Bailey back in the 60's
