Thought I'd uploaded one of my shots Patricia and forgotten about it. I took an identical shot in The Drome Valley in France last September. But I love this shot of yours too. They are fantastic birds. I'd say your shot has a slight edge over mine.

Yes, superb birds, and I'm sometimes saddened by the cartoon (evil guy) perception by the general public.

These huge birds are: partners for life - never unfaithful - loyal unto death - totally supportive - completely un-aggressive - strong sense of comunity... perhaps the human race could learn a thing or two from these much maligned birds?
