On a warm Sunday afternoon, I was sitting in this field near my house when these guys decided to pay me a visit.
Taken in Briones regional park near San Francisco.
A great capture, was you lying down to get this shot.click
Great composition, love the way the brown cow is stood in the middle of the other two, colours are fabulous!
Like the curious expressions on their faces.
great lineup, frame helps i think too!
Thanks Ade, the cows were moving all over the place so I took about 20 shots, this being the best.
Yes Fred, I was on my stomach acting disinterested because they would run away otherwise.
Love the shot!!
Good composition and viewpoint.
Incredible detail and nice colour too - problem is that they don't look too friendly.
Well Mike, now that you mention it, they did ask for spare change!
This is a lovely shot Mike, I like how the brown cow is flanked by the two black ones. You have captured their curiosity well, excellent clarity and detail.
I think she meant 'Patrick' and not 'Mike' - I love it when I get credit for other's shots
(sobbing) Yeah Mike, nothing new, it's the story of my life.....
But yes Louise, they were very curious as long as I showed no interest in them. Then they would run away.
Fantastic, the one in the middles expression is priceless, they must know how to pose though, great formation!
Thanks for the suggestion Patrick about the noise on my shot - I posted a question to the forum to see if anyone can offer a suggestion - I tried the blur thing and I DID pick up some stray colours. I'll have to fool with it a bit.
LOL superb models!
Great composition and lovely colours.
A really good shot. Click
This reminds me of a TV add we used to have over here for butter,
Good angle and detail..
Really good image. They look quite menacing don't they?
LOL. Look like they are going to burst into song.
I think I need to revisit my biology classes, the boys???
Nice shot, though.
Hello Patrick, you have captured so well the curiousity of cattle so well, they are all peering as if to say, 'whats he up to'...nice crisp and colourful shot.
A great shot--3 beautiful beasts
Good composition, top angle!
Exposure spot on, love the brown one in the middle. Did you ask them to do that? !
Thanks for your comments on my picture. Will keep trying.
Lovely composition and details. This is really an excellent shot! I have to agree with Teresa about the brown one in the middle. Well done! Clicked.
Hey Paddie.....Almost an RC...........
They are beggin' U for a Hug, can only hope you were most inclined!
LOL - I just never know where you will pop up next! They were 'chicken' and would run away the minute I stood up!
I'll bet they were hopin' you ate MORE chicken than beef...!
LOL - Yes, they had nothing to worry about! I go as high as fish on the evolutionary scale, so they were safe. Occasionally chicken but not very often!
LIke the poses and detail. Kind regards John
