MONARCH ON BUTTERFLY WEED . . .Another butterfly from the butterfly garden this past week. All summer there have been very few butterfly sightings at all. Then the last 3 weeks they have appeared. The last week has been a virtual butterfly parade amidst the butterfly weed, butterfly bush, zinnias and other flowers. Monarchs, Painted Ladies, Tiger Swallowtails, Black Swallowtails, lots of smaller butterflies and skippers. And last but not least the Zebra Swallowtails (previous uploads) which is the official butterfly of Tennessee!

Off to work today and then off for a week. Yea! Hopefully the butterflies will still be around next week when I am home. My hubby says "how many butterfly pics do you need, you have hundreds?" I say "Until I get the PERFECT" image!
